Use cases

A changelog that tells the people who asked

“You asked. We shipped.” lands with exactly the people who voted.

Publish a changelog entry, link the requests it closes, and everyone who asked or followed hears back by email and in the What’s new tab.

Set it up

  1. Write the entry

A title and a short body in Markdown. Schedule it or publish now.

    Changelog → New entry

  2. Link the requests it closes

Publishing moves them to Shipped. The editor shows how many voters and followers will hear about it before you press the button.

  3. Publish and notify

Everyone who voted or followed gets an email and an in-app notification. Prefer silence? Publish quietly and nobody is emailed.

  4. Show What’s new in your app

The widget’s What’s new tab carries an unread badge on the launcher until they have seen it. Any element can open it.
