theyasked.me

Use cases

Public feature board

One public place where customers post, vote and see what you decided.

A public feedback portal on your own domain: customers post requests, vote, follow the roadmap and read the changelog. You see who asked and what they pay.

Set it up

  1. Create the workspace

Your portal is live at theyasked.me/<workspace> with a “Feature requests” board and six statuses. Add your logo, accent colour and a one-line intro.

    Settings → Branding

  2. Give it your address

Switch to a free subdomain (northwind.theyasked.me) or your own domain with one CNAME record. Old links redirect.

    Settings → Portal address

    roadmap.northwind.io. CNAME domains.theyasked.me.
  3. Sign people in from your product

Link to the portal with an SSO token and every vote carries the person, their company and plan. The token is stripped from the URL after sign-in.

    Settings → SSO

    https://theyasked.me/northwind?token=<sso-token>
  4. Point people at it

Link it from your help menu, onboarding emails and status page. People who vote follow the request and hear from you when it moves.
